Les Eaux Vives Association
Acts of solidarity, transformed lives.
Founded in 1978, the Les Eaux Vives association exists to provide moral, material, physical and food-related humanitarian aid to people in need, in France and abroad — particularly in developing countries.
Its spheres of action are food aid, health, education and access to water.
It works in France and abroad, notably in sub-Saharan Africa (Burkina Faso and Chad), as well as in Haiti and Ukraine.
The Association in a Few Numbers
Our Fields of Action
In France and internationally, Les Eaux Vives supports people facing hardship. Our actions combine responses to immediate needs with lasting solutions in the areas of food, health, education and access to water.
Food Aid
The association organizes food distributions in Clermont-Ferrand. It has helped build and fund grain banks and grain mills in Burkina Faso, supporting solutions tailored to each area’s needs so that families and children can eat with dignity.
Access to Safe Water
The association has funded boreholes in rural areas and the construction of water towers in Burkina Faso, with support from the Agence de l’Eau Loire Bretagne.
Healthcare
We help build and equip healthcare facilities, support prevention initiatives, and make it easier to access consultations and specialist care.
Education
Building and equipping classrooms, supporting schooling, sponsorships and school meals: we work to create safer, more supportive learning conditions.
Our Projects
Every Eaux Vives project starts from a need identified in the field. Working with local partners, we mobilize the resources needed to provide useful, tailored and lasting solutions.
